We just got back from a four day visit to Kentucky and Ohio. I"ll hopefully have pictures and stories up soon! :)

New Blog! =)

Hey!
     I just started a new blog (standfastinthefaith.blogspot.com/). I'm super excited and pumped for this new blog! On my new blog,"Walk By Faith" I hope to share scripture, thoughts on passages from the Bible, and things that I learn everyday! :) On this blog,"My Life" I hope to share many pictures, fun stories, and just how everyday life is going! I Stand In Awe...

an overwhelming feeling of reverence, admiration,

      I stood in awe this morning as I looked out my bedroom window. The frost sparkled radiantly in the bright morning sun, the trees dripped little dribbles of water, the puddles were gradually melting, and the birds were chirping a morning song. It was beautiful.  God created beautiful things. 

      This morning was one of those mornings where I took a step back and stood in awe of what God had created. I feel like it is easy for us to get caught up in the flow of life. Sometimes it feels like life is a whirlpool. We feel like life is just spinning in circles, sometimes in life we don't know where to turn, and we feel like life is twisting out of control. We often get worried or distressed out over the little things in life. We often get so caught up in this whirlpool called life, I think we often forget to stand in awe of the one who created everything. 

      When you feel like life is a whirlpool and your world is falling apart, turn to Jesus. Sometimes all we need is to slow down and turn our eyes to Jesus. Stand in admiration, stand in awe of God. God is the only one who can supply you with peace and comfort we need.

      Today...I challenge you to stop and look around. Take a minute to thank God for everything he has given you.

   I hope this post finds you all doing well. =)
 I have been listening to a song, that has been a great encouragement to me. So I thought I would share it with you guys. :)

I love the chorus...it reminds me what the Reason for the World is....The reason for the world is to make us long for home....

    I'm sorry for the lack of posts...I got a facebook...and then I kinda stopped posting. :/ A friend and I are taking a break from facebook until the end of January. So you will hopefully start seeing posts soon, and I will hopefully continue, even after January is past. :)

White as Snow...

What can make us pure again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus....

Its words are so true....nothing but the blood of Jesus" Its so true that nothing but the blood of Jesus can make us pure again....nothing but the blood of Jesus can make us whole again....nothing but the blood of Jesus can make you white as snow...
Be encouraged...be inspired....go forth and tell the whole world that they need Jesus to make them white as snow...and they need Jesus to make the pure again, and they need Jesus to make the whole again....

Snowed in Party!

So last night my dad invited his employees to come spend the night at our house, (only a couple came, and others went to a different person's house) because most of them live on the Island, and the Terry's Corner was closed. We decided to have a party! ;) Kevin, Sarah, Stephanie, Tiffany, and Tobin all hanging out. Tobin  doesn't work for my dad, but was in the area so he stopped in. =) Here are a couple pics. :)

OK...I know....

So I'll admit to you all that I HATE the dark, lets just say I'm scared of the dark! I get scared if anything moves, if any one says boo and they are right next to me...so yea its pretty bad. =) So Tuesday night we needed more fire wood on the back porch. My brother Aaron hurt his foot so he was out...and Andrew (is also really scared of the dark) was busy, much to his delight...=) So I decided to be the brave sister....right! It didn't work out so well....first of all it was 50mph winds so everything is swaying back and forth and it all looks creepy and sounds creepy, second...its POURING outside, yes it was pouring down rain, and last, but not least its was really dark! So back to where I was so I put on my rain coat and put on my boots and off I go to the wood pile..it wasn't more than a couple seconds before I was inside again..I didn't know where the wheel borrow was...Dad just said he didn't know where it was and I would have to find it. Great, so here it is dark, cold, windy and raining and I have to find something. So I'm looking around I honestly can't find the wheel borrow..and I'm really tense, I was afraid and nervous, I was afraid something would jump out at me or something....then here comes my older sis not afraid of the dark or anything. So she finds the wheel borrow for me. (That made me really happy!) So far so good...so I'm walking toward the wood pile...and hear this rustling coming from inside the dumpster (its is a small dumpster) and I scream...and then I stop screaming and decide to investigate....and I'm walking closer and closer to the dumpster and nothing is really happening except this rustling sounds and I'm now really close...and then all the sudden Whoosh..a dog jumps out of the dumpster and I FREAK out, I mean literally FREAK OUT! I'm screaming and about ready to run into the house and hide on my bed... (well, maybe not) And my sister is laughing so hard I bet ya she was crying! Well, all is well now we got wood on the back porch....lol


I hope this makes you smile....now its your turn to turn around and make some else smile....share the joy of this world with everyone around you....
